In the fall of 2004 my parents of Twin Lake Cranberry asked me to help them build a sorting machine for their fresh fruit packaging business in Vesper, Wisconsin. I was about to graduate from the University of Washington with an MSEE (Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering) degree and thought the project sounded like fun.

In the fall of 2007 we finished our first successful sorting season with a production prototype of the CranSort at Twinlake Cranberry!

In 2008 we sold our first new machine to Wisconsin River Cranberry in Central Wisconsin where the machine was well received with high performance.
